Meet Our Doctors
Optometrists in Greeley, CO
Our doctor-owners have been living in and providing general eye care to the residents of Northern Colorado since 1996. We are proud to have served patients of all ages. Our motivation for starting our group office was the desire to manage and enhance every aspect of our patient care model without outside influence. Our office has experienced significant growth every year and always accepts new patients. We try to make sure same day appointments are usually available for urgencies.
What is an Optometrist?
Doctors of Optometry (Optometrists or O.D.’s) are the doctorate level, state licensed, primary health care professionals for the eyes and visual system. They examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, injuries, and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures as well as identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye. In addition they prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, topical and oral medications, low vision rehabilitation, and vision therapy. A prescription for eyewear is a very common patient need. This critically important component of clear vision in our office, is measured and prescribed directly by our doctors. Your precious visual clarity means we never utilize technicians to provide this critical part of most eye/vision evaluations.
In addition, our optometrists perform other procedures, such as removing metal foreign bodies from the anesthetized eye. When appropriate, optometrists counsel their patients regarding surgical and non-surgical options that meet their visual needs related to their occupations, avocations and lifestyle.
